Rick has also served as a police chaplain for 18 years, first with the San Clemente Police Department, then with Orange County Sheriff's Department where he continues to serve as a Senior Chaplain. Rick also has served with the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, as Vice President a missionary with Peace Officers for Christ, Vice President of Peace Officers and Firefighters Fellowship, and on the Red Cross Critical Response Team-SRT.

Rick and Sue have pastored at Ocean Hills Community Church, planted San Clemente Christian Center (which is now Cornerstone Community Church), and then in 2001 planted Church on the Rock, in San Juan Capistrano. Rick and Sue have been married over 32 years with two children and a beautiful little grandchild. Rick and Sue love the outdoor lifestyle.
